If you've missed it in the other thread, it looks like after the 1.9 update WRC doesn't work even with the older 3.x version of Varjo Base software, leaving Varjo users completely out of luck.
Since it's not possible to open a trouble ticket about WRC's incompatibility, it would be nice to have some sort of recognition of the problem included in the "Known Issues with VR Beta" list.

After the EA SPORTS WRC 1.9 Update VR for Varjo Aero seems completely broken.
Before update:
It was possible to launch the game in native OPEN XR runtime after downgrading the Varjo Base software. It was also possible to launch the game via OPENVR mode, but even the menus would stutter a lot (we are speaking max 5 frames per second) so that mode was unplayable.
After update:
With OPEN XR runtime the game crashes immediately after enabling VR with no error messages - game just crashes and window disappears at the moment when VR in attempted to switch on. I managed to launch the game by opening STEAMVR and switching the OPEN XR runtime to STEAM VR OPEN VR. Menus would load in VR but frames were 1 FPS max. and after few seconds game froze and EA SPORTS WRC had to be closed via task manager.
Practically unplayable state for Varjo Aero.
From other forum posts it seems native OPEN XR headsets have the most issues even though the game's VR was developed specifically with OPEN XR in mind. Seems weird that only workaround people have is to run the game through STEAMVR OPENVR when the game should perform at its best though native OPEN XR.
I am hoping the best for future updates! Please get this to work EA!
