I've had the same bug on the G2 since the last patch. I figured out I can avoid it by using the mouse to click the 'VR headset is currently unavailable' pop up (instead of pressing enter on the keyboard).

Fantastic how they find new bugs to I introduce with each 'update'. *Slowclap
