VR cut scenes/replay car sound off

I have the same issue. I play with a valve index on steam

I use a Valve Index, launches the game just fine and I can get into the game with no issue but there is absolutely no audio. I tried all of these troubleshooting steps and no audio at all
- Attached a different set of headphones

- Restarted the software
- Launched SteamVR before launching the game
- Launched the game before allowing SteamVR to launch

- Went through Windows sounds to set as default audio out

Nothing worked and with no setting in the game to tell it that I want the VR headset to retain audio there is no way around this.

Massive disappointment as I was really looking to play this game in VR once more but it seems everyone who uses SteamVR is having issues and I dont have an Oculus headset to use.

Just did my first stage in VR and lining up for the start where it gives you the stage info and driver info there is no engine audio, really quiet as there is no engine audio until you are put into the car and after the stage there is no engine audio during replays
