Alter q on E district

I had funky interactions with alter void passage horizontal or vertical didnt matter it would not let me go in it or not let me go back out and vice versa. I tried different portals on different spot it was just soooo inconsistent 
i dunno if its just on the new version of e district i do not play alter often and it made me lose fights so i did not play her after.
