Apex does not close properly....

The game simply doesn't close. Started around November/December and essentially after playing some matches when the user clicks "exit to desktop" or clicks "stop game" on steam the game enters a frozen state, seemingly closed but still appearing in task manager and not recognized as "stopped" on steam. This causes a situation where the user must RESTART their PC every single time they want to stop playing Apex, since you cannot launch other games on steam until the currently running game (apex) is properly stopped. Getting sick of it and I'm incredibly close to uninstalling.
