Apex matchmaking broke

As soon as the season hit the 3 hour until end mark the servers seem to have completely died.

I attempt to load into a match of duos and in the corner where it says the game mode it switches between starting server and players in queue and keeps switching between them with no change other than player count. 

I have sat and waited for it to load and the queue reached 30 players about 5 minutes ago nd still hasn't loaded me or my friend into the match.
