Caustic prestige skin

I recently got the prestige skin for caustic with him being buffed back to a playable level and after unlocking the second tier of the skin it completely stopped tracking damage. I've tried duos, trios, and mix tapes. No game mode tracks damage. I have tried taking the skin off and putting it back on, going back down to the first tier, changing servers, and anything  else I could think of but nothing seems to fix the bug. Nothing I do will move the tracker to unlock the final tier and I'm at a loss. I'm on ps5 if that's important.
