Firing range dynamic stats interaction bug

If I have dynamic stats on it says "hold (interaction button) to save and reset" on the top but when i press that key (for me it is LB on xbox controller) nothing happens. instead you need to hold the X button which is the normal interaction button. This is has been buggin me for a long time. Im on a xbox one s. Ps. I had to reposts this because it got no attention
