Which platform are you playing on? We've seen some other reports of this happening on Xbox and the team's currently looking into this, though there isn't currently a workaround or way to recover the prior settings unfortunately.
It made me accept some new agreement thing and deleted everything. I have zero idea what my settings were and I’m infuriated because mine were super advanced. My Xbox deleted the screen recording I had done before of the settings and now I don’t even know what to do. I’ve spent thousands of dollars as well as hours in this game, and this makes me never want to play again.
