Which platform are you playing on? We've seen some other reports of this happening on Xbox and the team's currently looking into this, though there isn't currently a workaround or way to recover the prior settings unfortunately.
So what you saying is this gonna happen everytime, restart, wait for sync and reinstalling all that doesnt work...everytime we must now take 45+ min to configure our settings. Im on Xbox series X. Please fix this!
