Game will not close

Hello,

Reporting the bug: Game will not close after quitting for at least 5 to 10 minutes. The icon from taskbar is gone but the game keeps running in the background as shown in task manager. Attempting to close it through task manager or 'End task' does nothing. Clicking stop process on steam does nothing, it is stuck on 'stopping'. The only thing that helps is either waiting 5 to 10 minutes or restarting the pc/logging out of the pc account. 

Any possible solutions?

Game Version: Steam

Graphics cards/drivers updated. Reinstalling the game/Verifying through steam didn't solve it. The issue started after the most recent updates.
