Not an expert but I had an xbox 1s with a similar sounding problem, except with Fortnite. Tried all the fixes etc.
What worked in the end for me was, and might be worth trying, was running the game from an external usb3 over 128 gig, ntfs formatted, maby an external ssd would do it too.
