Random Rp Loss

Me and my friend were grinding ranked from about 5:00pm to 10:00pm we had gained around 1000rp each in that time. I had ranked up from plat 4, 284rp, to plat 3, 614rp. My friend went from plat 3, 500rp, to plat 2, 400rp We got off of apex for 2 hours (10:00pm-12:00pm) and came back to play some more ranked. Our RP hadn’t changed yet. We then played 1 game and I had gained about 45 more rp. My friend gained about 100 more rp. When we went back to the lobby we had lost all of the rp we had gained throughout the day and then some. I went down to plat 4, 148 rp and my friend went down to  plat 3 200 rp. This is extremely heartbreaking considering we had spent a total of 6 hours playing today and all of it was wasted. There are so many things we could have done in six hours and we decided to play Apex. We were on the pace to get diamond in the next two hours but all of our rp reset to when we started. Please fix this. EXTREMELY frustrating and feels like we were robbed (all rp numbers provided in this report are NOT exact, just extremely precise averages).
