trigger fires twice while only pressed once

I'm on Xbox and using a Gamesir G7. My trigger fires twice randomly when I only press it once. This happens even in game menus, and only when the trigger stops is on. I've restarted, hard reset, and played around with the controller app settings, but nothing seems to work. Everything works fine outside of Apex. also experienced so many crashes lately!
