Unable to connect to EA Servers (Code Anti-cheat authentication timeout).

I kept receiving the following error when trying to connect to apex legends:

"Unable to connect to EA Servers (Code Anti-cheat authentication timeout). Please check your Internet connection and try again. See ea.com/unable-to-connect for more information."

I've tried the following:

Switch off router for >30s and switch on
Run apex legends and "EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe" as administrator
Verify file integrity via steam
Re-installed Apex legends

Nothing seems to work. I can access occasionally but most of the times i will receive this error. Could you please advice?

honestly no clue. should be within the hour but best bet is to check down detector every once in a while

Hey legends!

This wasn't an issue on Apex's side, (shocker, I know), but rather an issue with Amazon's web services, (AWS), as apparently there was a massive DDOS attack earlier today.

this issue happens a lot im guessing. their efforts to stop cheaters is messing up other people who are just trying to have a good time. this is why im not buying anymore items from live service games because we are relying on devs who can't do what is needed
