Game crash in lobby after latest update
So, whenever i open the game to play on steam platform it crashes instantly after clicking "continue" button before entering the lobby, the game just closes, it does not freeze, it does not bluescreen, it just closes and leaves no error after closing. Sometimes it gives 2 errors, i will leave screenshots. The first being a easy anticheat reacting to a AMD latest driver .dll named "amdihk64.dll", after deleting it completely from system32 it does not give this error anymore and i do not see any performance loss in other games or in apex legends. This bug only happens when storm point map is in rotation, heard more people complaining about this crash bug on reddit in the last 3 days since the update released. I wanted to play this game tons and lately it crashed on me not even exagerating, at least 60 times. Hello, so the game keeps crashing just a couple seconds after launching it and getting to the main menu. At first i thought the game files or the EA app was faulty but after rapairing the files and trying Steam too, the problem wasnt fixed. I just read some peoples problems on your forum and some of them are reporting the same problem. Please fix it as soon as you can! I can play for a few hours non-stop without any problem. But soon or later while i am loading into a game after the matchmaking has been finished an infinite loading starts. How to solve this problem? The only thing i can do is to close the game throw the task manager. I play on EA App, it is kind of frustrating, when your team has loaded into the match, and you not and they have to play duo vs trios. I am reporting a severe logic error tied to my account that is preventing me from playing the game. Whenever I open an Apex Packs, the game crashes with the following script error: sh_items.gnut #840 [UI] Invalid settings asset "Something" Issue Details: On Steam (PC): The game freezes for several seconds and then throws the #840 error specifically when I click to open an Apex Pack. Apex is unplayable after an update broke the game for my configuration which has worked for 6 months. I experience severe texture corruption on Nvidia GRID drivers 539.64 and 581.80 both after complete clean reinstalls of the game and Nvidia drivers tested with both Nvidia drivers running on stock settings. It is not a faulty hardware problem, I can play much more demanding games like Battlefield 6 with this config for hours without issue or crashes. I am using an Nvidia Tesla V100 with a GTX 1070ti with NVcleanstall telling the grid drivers to treat the 1070ti as both a Tesla P4 for 539.64 and as another tesla V100 for 581.80. Ansel is disabled, HDCP is disabled and MSI interrupts are on The game launched and ran perfectly for 6 months with this configuration up until the update on 24 March 2026 and now whenever I launch the game the textures appear like in the attachment. I can still move around the menu and play the game but the textures are extremely corrupted. Whilst playing Apex on PS4, I purchased 12,000 Apex Coins and opened an Apex Pack, but a server error occurred, and the Apex Pack disappeared without me receiving any rewards. As I could open 50 packs at once, I opened 50 packs in a single go. I repeated this twice, but on both occasions, the Apex Packs vanished without any rewards. I checked to see if the Apex Coins had been refunded, but they hadn’t. When I contacted support, I was simply told to ‘contact PlayStation’ or that they would ‘report it to the team’, and nothing has been resolved. I am extremely worried that this will be swept under the carpet and that I will simply be left out of pocket. I would like this matter to be addressed as a matter of urgency.50Views2likes2Comments
