Critical Netcode & Input-Lag issues + Gadget-Swap Bug after recent update

HI EA team,

I am writing this because the current state of BF6 after the latest update is becoming unplayable for many of us. I am playing on a PS5 Pro with a 10Gbit fiber connection (native IPv4, DZ enabled, ping is perfect), but despite optimal network settings, the game feels completely broken.

The issues:

  1. Netcode & Hitreg: I am constantly experiencing
    "ghost bullets" and getting killed behind cover (Desync). It feels like players with high-latency connections are favored by the game's lag compensation, punishing those of us with low-latency fiber connections.
  2. Gadget-Swap Bug: This is critical! When trying to equip the Defibrillator, the game frequently equips the wrong gadget (e.g., instead of the Defib, the Assault soldier equips the ladder, or the Recon equips the Drone). This happens constantly and leads to unnecessary deaths while trying to revive
    teammates.

    My friends have already stopped playing and moved to other titles because of these bugs. Please prioritize a fix for this. The current experience is extremely frustrating, and we need an update now to fix these fundamental

    gameplay issues.

  • Same. This is how it worked for me.

    Two updates back my hit reg was not that bad. Dying around corners yes but I could kill enemies when shot. 

    Thus update has to be a joke. I can play a few games and they are OK not good just ok. After that it's nothing but ghost bullets Dying around corners 1 frame death's.  

    Now I see 100+ pings on player's. You shoot them and they dodge like the matrix and laser you in 1 frame. This high ping advantage needs to go. Tested this my self. If I download a game in the background on my ps5 run a movie on my laptop and phone my ping jumps from 20 to 120.  An when it's 120 I can't be shot as long as I keep moving. Play aggressive with high ping wins.

    Packet loss packet loss packet loss. This is the new update. ANY interaction with another player causes 2% packet loss. 

    Lagging delay input on ps5. Some games it will start mid game. My sensitivity feels like it gets low. Sliding running jumping feels slow like mud. Only on BF6.

    I have no problems on enlisted, outlast, ark,arma, dying light, farcry, RE village, no man's sky, 7d2d ,cod, delta force, dead island, hitman, fallout 4,cyberpunk, battlefield 4,border lands,3,4, dead by daylight, skyrim, I can keep going. 

    Only in bf6. It's obvious something is wrong with your game or the game has some kind of eomm

    EOMM stands for Engagement Optimized Matchmaking. It is a matchmaking framework designed to maximize the total time players spend in a game by deliberately creating win/loss streaks to manipulate emotional engagement, rather than just creating fair matches based on skill (SBMM).

    It's starting to feel more like eomm. Prove me wrong.
