Anti cheat effecting Xbox Elite 2 controllers

It appears that part of the anti cheat system is accessing player controllers on Xbox. I suspect it's an effort to find hardware mods either inline or part of the controller. But it causes the controllers to output double signals after exiting BF6. It's  necessary to turn the controllers off and then back on to correct this issue. My regular Xbox controllers do not exhibit this issue.
