Assignment progress stuck – “Deal damage to aircraft with launchers”
The assignment “Deal damage to aircraft with launchers as engineer” is not tracking progress correctly.
My progress became stuck at a specific number and has not increased since, despite repeatedly dealing confirmed damage to aircraft using launchers.
This appears to be a known and widespread issue, with multiple players reporting identical behavior on Reddit and other community channels. Some users report partial progress after patches, but the issue is still not fully resolved.
In my case, the assignment is effectively soft-locked, making it impossible to complete through normal gameplay.
Steps to reproduce:
- Equip an launcher.
- Join a Conquest match.
- Deal damage to enemy aircraft (hits confirmed).
- Observe assignment progress.
Expected result:
Assignment progress should increase consistently based on damage dealt to aircraft.
Actual result:
Progress remains stuck at the same value and does not update, regardless of successful hits or damage dealt.
Additional Info:
- The assignment became locked at this value before any fix was released.
- Even after later patches that reportedly improved tracking for some players, my progress remains unchanged.
- This has resulted in the assignment being permanently blocked for my account.
Request:
When this bug is fixed, I kindly request that the assignment progress is retroactively corrected, or that the assignment is automatically unlocked/completed for affected players whose progress was locked due to this issue.
