Battlefield 6 will not launch!

Battlefield 6 will not launch through EA app, when I try to launch battlefield 6, i get an error message telling me that the game is already running.  When I try restarting the EA app, I get a message telling me to close the active game, but there are no other apps running.  I reboot computer, same thing... cant launch game because EA app thinks it is already running.  What a waste of money...
