Hey man! Adding onto this thread, PS5 player, bought the pro BP on 11/9, and I don’t have access to the instant unlocks, and no doubt other features are bugged like you researched. I really appreciate your diligence on adding proof and how you laid your post out, I’ve been angrily ranting on similar forum posts here since Sony decided I wasn’t eligible for a refund because “The publisher hasn’t acknowledged the issue” like OFC they won’t! Cause why on earth would EA state “heyyy uh, the pro battlepass is bugged currently pls don’t buy,” ?? I can guarantee they’ll acknowledge the issue once we as consumers are too burnt out to fight or are ineligible for refunds from our respective providers. You being given the runaround with EA CS Support says everything you need to know, they know it’s an issue but are refusing to acknowledge it until it’s too late for us as the “burned” consumers. THIS IS ABYSMAL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND MORE PLAYERS SHOULD BE UPSET ABOUT IT, ESPECIALLY IF THEY SPENT THEIR MONEY ON A $25 [edited] BATTLEPASS!
I also never received the promised rewards from launch day when the game was unplayable for many of us. I bought the game through EA instead of refunding and switching to Steam like a lot of players did, and I never got the 12 hour boosters or anything. Support told me that affected players already received them, but how can they tell if I was affected from me sitting on the home screen during launch day. That makes no sense.
Even after that, I continued to support the game by buying the PRO Battle Pass and some store skins, and now I am dealing with missing items again. It is honestly extremely frustrating. This is not how you build trust with players who actually support the game.
