I contacted PS Support. They escalated a ticket for me. But that may or may not lead to anything. I'll keep ya posted
You’re not gonna get a refund sadly. They’re wasting your time. When I tried a couple weeks ago to get a refund thru Sony, they claimed I was ineligible because “EA hasn’t publicly acknowledged the issue, we cannot offer a refund,” and don’t even think about trying to do a chargeback with your bank; Sony can label that as abuse and ban/restrict your account at their discretion. You really should’ve listened to your better judgement lol

Possibly. I've worked in IT. Basically as the issue develops the response begins to vary. As the Knowledge base expands, the response may be different as time goes on. The answer they gave you 2 weeks ago - could be obsolete right now as the issue continues to expand. I mean I'm not putting a ton of hope in it... but it isn't too uncommon for the response from a support team to change over time because more information comes to light as they deal with more cases concerning the same issue.
