Binding issue on console for gadgets

BINDING ISSUE Ps5(overall console issue)

 Because they for some reason decided to swap the grenade and ping button from every other previous battlefield I wanted to swap it back so I did so in the bindings. Meaning grenade/call in gadget [half] is L1 and ping /call in gadget[half] is R1. I cannot deploy my class abilities or call in gadgets in redsec because all it does it throw the grenade. In order to use it I need to throw all my throwables and it’s tedious

  • I'm having literally the same problem. I wish I could offer a solution as I've been searching since redsec came out. Either this problem is not that common or people are not that annoyed with it. The only solution I've found is lightly tapping the triggers (I have triggers and bumpers flipped) and making SURE that I hit them at the same time, but the window is narrow and not consistent. I think this can all be solved by having a HOLD and TAP key bind like other options do. That should be there for all the mappings. You should be able to map it to a button and then pick if its tap, hold, or double tap. I appreciate BF offering a mapping selector but they have to implement it better.
