[BUG REPORT] Tank Driver Sensitivity Bug (Since Beta – Still Unfixed)
TL;DR:
Tank driver sensitivity is completely broken — 1st person view is insanely slow and inconsistent. Gunner view works fine. Issue has existed since beta and still hasn’t been fixed, no setting or DPI change helps. Please fix!
Hi everyone,
I’ve been having a serious issue with tank sensitivity that makes it nearly impossible to play as the tank driver. This bug has been around since the beta and still hasn’t been fixed.
System Details:
- Monitor: Samsung Odyssey G5 34" Ultrawide (3440x1440)
- Display Mode: Borderless and Fullscreen
- Mouse DPI: Tested from 550dpi up to 30,000 DPI
- All vehicle sensitivities: From min to max out in settings
The Problem:
When driving a tank in first-person view (driver seat):
- The sensitivity is extremely slow, almost unresponsive.
- Increasing sensitivity or DPI barely affects it.
- Movement speed varies strangely — it’s slightly faster when moving the mouse diagonally, but still very inconsistent and unplayable.
When switching to gunner view, everything works perfectly fine — both first- and third-person sensitivities are normal.
So to summarize:
- ✅ Gunner view: Works fine
- ❌ Driver, 1st person: Way too slow and broken
What I’ve Tried:
- Changing vehicle and soldier sensitivity settings
- Adjusting FOV
- Switching between borderless, fullscreen, and windowed modes
- Lowering and raising DPI (even up to 30,000)
- Restarting and resetting settings
Nothing works — the issue only happens in the 1st-person driver view.
Please Fix This!
Tanks are a big part of the game, and right now, driving them in first-person is basically unplayable on ultrawide setups.
If anyone else has this issue, please reply so EA can see how widespread it is.
Thanks — the rest of the game is great, but this one bug really kills the vehicle experience.
