class ability levels resets

When progressing through a match, the class ability, or more specificaly the "Training Path" of your choice, levels up, starting at level 1 up until level 4.

At some points in the leveling process of these abilities, they reset. Now, I understand that the last one is supposedly a one time use and need to be re-leveled once used. The issue is that sometimes this ability resets to the previous level without it being used. Furthermore, sometimes the previous levels also resets, as in for example level 3, at the point of it being completed. SAo it would pop-up on the right sidwe of the HUD that the level is achieved, and then immediately reset back to the zero XP gained on the same level, without activating. It is very frustrating to sometimes go through an entire match and have to level the same point, multiple times, without ever profiting from the ability.

Now perhaps there is some intended mechanic behind this, and that it isnt a bug at all, but if that is the case, the infromation surrounding this system ais extremely vague, and doess not explain any of how it works properly, so my thought is that the behaviour of this particular system, is not working as intended.
