Crouch (toggle) can't be re-bound on keyboard & mouse

I am trying to change from the default crouch behaviour by re-binding L-Ctrl to either Crouch (toggle) or Crouch (toggle)/Prone (Hold). In both cases, the original default crouch keybinds continue to function and the new assigned keybinds do not work.

If I remove all keybinds for crouch, the default keybinds still function.

I will not re-train my muscle memory for this, only to revert when it is corrected. I will not play the game until the bug is fixed.
