DMR(sniper rifle) kills not counted.

It’s been 4 days now and none of my DMR or RECON CLASS  related challenges are working. Kills with the individual sniper rifle(DMR) only counts for weapon level but will not count for the DEADEYE challenge or the RECON CLASS CHALLENGE. So i am unable to advance or unlock rewards that are tied to those challenges. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game, restored licenses, reset my internet, and still no progress at all.
