Frametime spikes in two or three maps

Reporting a common issue with frametime spikes causing microstuttering about 2-3 times a match of Operation Firestorm, Manhattan Bridge, and Empire States. All other maps are completely stable so this isn't an issue with the high cpu utilization / memory leak and framerate degradation that a lot of other people are experiencing with all maps.

Steam discussion here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/2807960/discussions/0/591784958348260246/

I have a 9800x3d cpu with 9070xt gpu. Seems to be happening to Nvidia gpus as well. No event logs indicating software / hardware issues. Seems to be server side or something with the maps shader or texture loading on these specific map that causes these stutters. I'm not able to replicate this on any parts of the map nor is it related to any specific situation where lots of explosions / levolution happening as far as my character can see.

Thanks.

  • I have the same problem with these cards with a 9950x3d processor and 64 RAM. If anyone finds a solution, let me know.

Yes it’s those three maps, engine side. Happening on all systems, the other maps are butter smooth. I was told EA/dice are aware of it and working on a fix. There is a couple of main threads on Steam and EA forums about those maps, no settings will fix it currently.
