FSR Frame generation doesn't work properly

Game with FSR FG enabled feels much worse than disabled, for example it boosts my frames from 100 to 150 but it looks like 60

I tried to:
-turn off gsync, vsync, dlss
-disable fullscreen optimizations
-limit fps
-update drivers
-change to borderless, windowed, fullscreen
-turn off any overlays

GPU: Rtx 3060ti
CPU: Ryzen 7 5700x

thats what it looks like frame by frame:
its either repeating same frame twice or creating this mess on picture

  • Can confirm for me when it is off I get around 140 fps but with it on I get "240" fps that feels like 120, looking at the performance statistics it shows the cpu frame rate going up to 240 but the gpu frame rate remains the same at the 140 level, not sure what's going on there.
    GPU: RX 9070 XT
    CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D

In the mean time I've just been using the driver level amd fluid motion frames (similar to nvidia smooth motion) to give me the 'real' 240 fps but of course that comes with a couple hud glitches.
