Game stuttering

I, and others I have talked to, have been experiencing stuttering in all modes of the game since the afternoon of 12/10/2025. The problem persists today 12/12/2025 after the supposed fix released this morning for the Steam related stuttering problem.

I have attempting the following resolutions with no real discernible changes to the stuttering:

PC Reboot

Set Steam friends to "Offline"

Tried full-screen & borderless

Disabled MSI Afterburner & RivaTuner

Disabled all overlays (Steam, Nvidia Overlay)

Closed all other non-essential applications (Logitech G Hub, Corsair iCUE, Nvidia App, Discord, etc.)

Verified game files in Steam

Uninstalled & reinstalled BF6 via Steam

My PC specs:

i7-10700k, RTX 3070 8GB, 32GB RAM, Windows 10

Game installed on Samsung 850EVO SSD

Currently running Nvidia driver 577.00, I did attempt all of the above solutions with the most recent driver also (591.44) with no success. I have since reverted back to 577.00 as it seems to combat the memory loss issue I was facing prior to doing so. I'm not certain that the term "memory leak" is accurate, but I had seen many encountering my same issue referring to it as a memory leak. 577.00 seemed to work much better. In short, I am no expert, please don't grill me on the terminology on that bit.

Thank you,

Sam

This stutter issue is becoming a real pain. It comes EVERY Tuesday without fail then stays around another 1 or 2 days before dissappearing again. At least this is for me anyway.

Running all updated BIOS, OS, drivers
    i7 13700KF, RTX 4070

Still having the Stutter issue as well, tried turning off steam friends, switching input from mouse, graphic settings changed, and yeah still getting a weird stutter when i turn and move to aim or strafe. i know they've said the issue has been addressed but ever since that last winter update, game is still broken for some of us. hopefully another patch is coming sooner than later.

Edit* sorry forgot to address that FPS and temps are totally fine! just goofy stutters when moving turning, scoping ect. :(

I'm still dealing with the stutter too. Pretty much have just been checking reddit & other forums daily to see if there has been any progress. The most frustrating part for me is not knowing if anyone from EA/Dice is aware of our issue. That's why I put this  post here after posting on reddit for a while. I'd feel at least some hope if I knew they were paying attention to us.

Such a shame, because I do enjoy the game (when it works).

  • Yeah it's not FPS stutters, it's mouse movement that stutters after pressing ERQREFTVC12312 etc D: And Dice didnt do **bleep** after Winter update that broke the game for me and I can't even play the event. What if I want refund now after 80hrs cause they broke the game to the state that is unplayable for me? I litteraly can't play and thats not my fault :|

  • I upgraded to Windows 11 because I was experiencing stutters on Windows 10, no matter what I tried. EA's anti-cheat causes an insane amount of DPC latency, leading to inconsistent frametimes. The only temporary solution for me was holding the Alt key, which didn't cause a DPC spike. This allowed me to press other keys without the anti-cheat checking them.
