I’m having the same issue on a PS5 pro. I don’t think it’s the CPU that’s causing it in my console. It’s server related.
I don’t have a PS5 myself, but on PC there’s an in-game network and hardware performance overlay you can enable.
In that panel, when the “TN” value (timing or network delay) goes abnormally high — around 100 ms or more — the same problem usually appears.
From what I’ve gathered after asking ChatGPT and checking Google, this TN metric seems to be a hardware-related timing value rather than pure network latency.
