I Cannot Slide

I have crouch mapped to C. C is mapped on my keyboard an on a mouse button. Double tapping C while sprinting does not initiate a slide. I have tried both of my mappings and made sure slide it is enabled in my BF6 settings. It has been like this the entire time I have been playing.
