IFV Laser Paint Causes Silent Locks on Aircraft; Flares Ineffective

This has happened at least 3 times to me where I'll be flying in a helicopter, get painted, then I'll get no warning that an IFV was locking onto me with their MR missile and I get blown up. Dice plz...

Besides the lack of any notifications, using helicopters flares doesn't remove the painted effect which subsequently kills you with a hit from MR Missle.
It's simply unbelievable how impossible it is to play in a helicopter when an enemy APC goes AFK on the edge of the enemy spawn zone and kills you with one shot 100% of the time, being more effective than his anti-aircraft vehicle.
