In game text chat broken

Stopped working for me after last major patch. 

Same here, any acknowledgement from Dice that they are working on a fix??

When the map is loading press enter. You will have chat. You need to do this every time you are loading up your first match. If you forget you can press enter when the next map is loading and it will work

The best temporary fix is to unbind enter before ever getting into a game. Then you just use the default binds of J/K/L to bring up all/team/squad chats.

It's been a whole month now. I bet they won't have this fixed in the next patch. I'm getting tired of having to remember to hit enter during the initial loading screen

The press enter during loading still works but the chat is still broken. I was hoping they would have addressed it with this new patch but they didn't. Anyone hear anything on when they might fix it? If they even care that it is broken?

hit J first, then type  (do not press Enter first).

I completely removed [ENTER] from chat shortcuts. This bug is annoying as hell, so I'm just using [J] now
