Laptop Overheating/Locking Up During Gameplay

It only seems to have been happening over the last few days where I typically cannot get through a match without my laptop getting really hot and the game completely locking up. I end up having to reboot. I have tried turning off DLSS and lowering the graphics settings and still happens. No other game seems to do this, and I was able to play BF6 before with no issues on close to max settings. My system settings are: ASUS Tuf Gaming A17 FA707XV laptop with an AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS w/ Radeon 740M Graphics and an NVIDIA GeForce 4060 Laptop GPU and 32 GB of RAM. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I am enjoying playing the game and no longer can seem to do so.
