NEW RECON GADGET BREAKS OPTICS AFTER USE

After using the Hardware Suppression System to destroy hostile gadgets/explosives, many optics fail to work properly after switching back to your weapon until you die.

The optics do not centre themselves on the screen, disrupting your vision and making gunfights stressful. The 3x thermal optic in particular becomes virtually unusable. It doesn’t seem to affect sniper scopes from my experience but aside from that, it’s been incredibly frustrating.

Hey there — thanks for sharing this.
I understand that you are referring to the HTI-MK2 Hardware Suppression System. If possible, could you share a screenshot or a short clip showing the issue on your end?

  • Hello everyone, I recently encountered a interesting bug.

Season 2 introduced a new gadget for the recon class, the HTI-MK2 (Hardware suppression system), very fun to use, but after usage it breaks the game a bit, after using, regardless of what you have on your primary weapon ( sights, scopes, irons etc) it completely breaks the alignment of the gun making the sights unusable when aiming down sights.

I play on PS5, so I don't know if it happens on the other platforms as well.

Small bug, but the gadget is really fun to use destroys ANYTHING BTW, from grenades, rockets, gadgets up to 70m.

    (Unfortunately I don't have a picture evidence)

I’ll pass this on to the team. If you’re able to capture a screenshot or short clip of the issue, please add it to this thread, as it can really help with the investigation.
