Objects like supply bags often pass through vehicles when thrown

When I try to attach objects such as supply bags to a vehicle, they often pass right through it instead of sticking.
Throw. It clips through. Pick it up. Throw again. It clips through. Pick it up. Throw again...
This process feels very discouraging.
Please make it so that objects attach easily and intuitively to vehicles, as it appears visually!
