Party modes locked.
Whenever 1 Friend Joins My Party All Modes Show LOCKED and We Can't Search. But when he is solo he can search just fine, when he is with other people he can search just fine, when I'm with other people I can search just fine. As soon as both of us are in the same Squad / Party it locks us out of searching.
Multiplayer Modes have a LOCK icon on them and you cannot select them. If you pre select a mode and you're at the LOBBY screen and he joins then it will GRAY OUT the START button. At the top of the screen in RED it says “Unavailable with party”
This happens regardless of who is the Party Leader. This happens when in a squad of 2, 3 or 4.
Even with another person being the leader. Once we are both in the party it locks it out for everyone. If he is in the Squad with 1 or 2 ppl and I join, it locks it out. If I'm in a squad with 1 or 2 people and he joins.. it locks it out.
This is on PS5 and it only happens if we are both on PS5 playing.
We have tried all the obvious stuff.
- It's not a Crossplay on/off issue. (When you join a squad you take on whatever crossplay option that leader has set)
- System Software is all updated.
- We both have PS+ (otherwise we wouldn't be able to play AT ALL)
- Game is updated obvious.
- Did a FULL POWER OFF / Reboot.
- We even reset our Routers / Modems to be sure (not likely a cause).
The only way we have got it to work is if we start the matchmaking w/o him or me in the squad and then have him join the Party after we start loading into a match.
