Hey, had the same issue. I tried most solutions I could find, but the strange work around for me was to simply enter the game with no spatial audio enabled, then enable 3d-headphones and enable Dolby or whatever preferred spatial audio and the game would recognize it.
I have an external audio interface and pretty sure it created issues for me, but for some reason doing it this way made BF6 recognize my setup and Dolby Atmos.
