Phantom addition tier skips did not work as promised

I purchased the phantom addition for battlefield 6. When the battle pass rolled out I was excited to use it for the mini scout. When I got home and opened the game I was immediately thrown off that my tier skips applied to a series that I don’t not want. (Not the mini scout series of tiers) anyone else have this issue? If I remember correctly there is a EA article that specifically states we would be able to choose what tiers we wanted to skip based on the sections. Anyone else have this issue?
