SEVERE Input Lag (contoller-to-game / PlayStation 5)
I had hopped on to play a couple of games after 1-2 weeks due to the whole AWS fiasco and I have run into yet another issue on Battlefield 6 for the PlayStation 6…
I am not sure if I am just impressively unlucky, or if the backend for battlefield 6 on PlayStation 5 just absolutely melted down between the beta and the full release. I had almost no problems aside from a few slight bugs due the amount of people paying the beta simultaneously. However, the full release is a completely different story….. ever since the full release for battlefield 6 has dropped I have had one problem after another on PlayStation 5. And unfortunately I don’t really have any options besides not playing the game I just purchased because countless bugs keep making my game entirely unplayable.
This time I had yet another issue that I can’t really explain besides EXTREMELY SEVERE input lag for the ps5 controller when playing online multiplayer. Again there is no real way to describe the issue without saying that, no matter what I tried, the input for the ps5 from controller-to-match was lagging by an entire 1-2 seconds on any match I tried to get into. Whether I looked left, right, up, or down my character would not move for an entire 1-2 seconds until AFTER you moved the joysticks…
I tried restarting and shutting down both the game and the console multiple times, reset ALL my settings to default, and even looked up solutions and I could find anything to fix it… whatever this issue is, it also happened to me in the firing range, so it might not even be limited to just multiplayer.
This game was so great during the beta and I really wish it worked half was well for me on the full release as it did in the beta. I feel bad for nagging, but it would be really nice if I could actually play the game that I spent $100 on…
