The same issue. In the first minutes of the match in Breakthrough mode it counts the spots. After that, I do exactly the same thing with the drone, but it just doesn't count it. I don't even see "Enemy spot" text pop-up. Maybe it is because someone has already spotted the enemy. I don't know.
