stick drift on console

There was always stick drift when the game first came out, and even after playing with the deadzones doing god knows how many combinations and i got it to a point where it was bearable, but since the new update the stick drift has gone completely out of whack and the game is pretty much unplayable. Every so often, and i mean often, it will drift my aim completely without me touching a thing on the controller. not just a little stick drift but heavy drift until im facing the sky.

Are you on console or PC?  I know that Steam and Battlefield 2042 have had serious issues about controllers being used and would normally cause the screen to look either up or down, and you can not move them out of it, unless you used a mouse and fired the gun, which would trigger the game to use M/K style.  My temp fix for that was to setup EA desktop as a Game in steam, then had ChatGPT create a .BAT file that would close out Steam and EA desktop, then load Steam, then EA Desktop, then run Battlefield 2042 clean. I know you are on BF 6, but it may have carried over.

Also, you must go into the game's management and change it so Steam input is disabled, since BF has its own controller input software.

Didn't work all the time, but 90% it did.  It also somehow reset my Xbox controller calibration.... don't know why.

Now if it is on Console... you may have bigger issues, like your controller may actually have something in the stick itself causing it to read improperly (non TMR/Hall effect sticks), calibration may be off, there are websites out there that can help fix that, or wore out (again non TMR/Hall effect sticks).
