Support Challenge Not Tracking

I am trying to do the final support mastery challenge of “deal 2000 damage with the incendiary airburst launcher” and the damage is not tracking properly. I shot directly at several people and got at least 10-15 kills and I only got 70 damage dealt.

    I firmly believe that this is a bug. This task only counts the damage caused by the grenade hitting a person, while the burning damage is not counted.

    Yeah the damage over time wasn’t counting for me and even the grenade explosion didn’t count every time I hit someone.
