Tier Skips Automatically Applied

The Tier Skips, that came with BF PRO, were automatically applied to the first career path. It is my belief that these Tier Skips should be left to the player to decide on when/where to use them; rather than them being automatically applied. Will there be a chance of reimbursement? I'm happy that those that paid for BF PRO got Tier Skips - but they shouldn't be redeemed without the players consent.
