Unable to hold breath on DMR's as Recon

I also have this issue. I'm playing on pc, with the recon class. Works fine with snipers, but with a dmr it doesn't. I even get the hold breathe hint as well, but it just doesn't work. I've heard (from reddit) that it works on console, not sure which one though.

I’m on Xbox and it doesn’t work for me either and I tried everything he listed and still doesn’t work (snipers work tho) … my buddy is on Xbox but his works… I’m uninstalling and installing rn .. I’ll lyk if it works 

.. just reinstalled and still doesn’t work .. plz lmk if you find a fix.

Just started happening to me today. 200 hours played and never had the issue before. Can't get it to work with any DMR/Scope combo in multiplayer or REDSEC. On PC.

been 2 months and still not fixed...
