The Nightfall challenges end 7 April, so there will presumably be more coins in week 7.
its a good gun its worth getting. Yes if you want it free you will have to wait for the 3rd week of challenges. Its the dev's way of being scummy trying to force you to pay for a few tiers using real money
Surely the developers can't be so slow-witted as to stretch one event over three weeks just to distribute 5 coins. It would have made sense if they'd at least divided 110 coins evenly over three weeks.
It's unfortunately not a miscalculation. Since it's a three week event, the unlock progress via challenges has been spread out for the whole length of the event.
If you want the SMG right now, you'll need to either use in-game currency, or pick one up and rank it to level 10 to unlock the weapon package version (N.B. you won't be able to customise this).
I'm still hoping this is a bug. Weapon level 10 doesn't allow you to enjoy it without customization. I'm waiting for an official response.
Except I think it is a miscalculation. Some of the people in my clan have the gun already... Most of us (myself included) do not have enough points yet. We all have 105... Somehow they earned enough points sooner. So there's something screwy going on because they all said that they earned it this week naturally and did not buy it. I highly doubt that all of them are lying about not paying for it since we were all in the same grind trying to get the points until we started realizing that some were unlocking it, and some of us are short...
By the way, here's another proof that this is 100% a bug, because week #4 is exactly the same 5 coins that are missing
