Unable to unlock the KORD 6P67 after completing mission

Completed the KORD 6P67 mission for the first assault rifles, and it did not give the gun. However, I was still able to do the next mission for the NVO-228E. Would like to unlock the gun and not sure if this happening for others or just me.
