I chatted with support, using my son’s account. All I get from them is that it is a known issue with 1000’s of people around the world. No timeline on fix. And very little troubleshooting steps were taken.
I am wondering, is there a way we can get some kind of official acknowledgment that the team knows about this bug around youth accounts being unable to access the game, even when they have already been verified by KWS age verification? I am just trying to determine if I can just ride this out with my son, or if we just need to cut our losses and move on. We have had this issue for numerous days now, and still can’t even access the game. Really feels like we are getting left behind or forgotten.
From the chats I have had with EA chat support, it really feels like they don’t fully understand the problem. I just hope that the right team is getting the info and are working on a fix. Would be nice to see a sticky in the forms acknowledging this issue or at minimum a post on twitter.
