Undefined Error

I bought the game for son so we can play together and worked just fine the first day, next day he gets an undefined error code 1:86001S:89001S:9C:-13561655840 I scan the QR code for assistance and it’s a generic troubleshooting guide with zero help. Googled it and all the results are for PC or PS5. I did the 1.1.1.1 dns and 1.0.0.1 and still the same problem. I even uninstalled the game reset the Xbox reinstalled the game and same error. My Xbox has zero issues and were literally in the same house rooms next to each other

    Try deleting the local saved data with these steps.

    1. Press the Guide button and then highlight the BF6 tile.
    2. Hit the Menu button. It's the small one to the right of the Guide button with 3 horizontal lines on it.
    3. Next, go to Manage game and add-ons > Saved data. Delete the file with your gamertag on it.

    Hello. Since you can play on a different account, this would be an account related issue. Please open a case with an advisor so they can look for any issues. Cases can be opened by clicking on the 'Contact Us' button at the bottom of this page.

    Thank you Eaa_Aljo. I appreciate that you are really trying to help us out here. 

    I chatted with support, using my son’s account. All I get from them is that it is a known issue with 1000’s of people around the world. No timeline on fix. And very little troubleshooting steps were taken. 

    I am wondering, is there a way we can get some kind of official acknowledgment that the team knows about this bug around youth accounts being unable to access the game, even when they have already been verified by KWS age verification? I am just trying to determine if I can just ride this out with my son, or if we just need to cut our losses and move on.  We have had this issue for numerous days now, and still can’t even access the game. Really feels like we are getting left behind or forgotten. 

    From the chats I have had with EA chat support, it really feels like they don’t fully understand the problem. I just hope that the right team is getting the info and are working on a fix. Would be nice to see a sticky in the forms acknowledging this issue or at minimum a post on twitter.

    I let go of a problem and created a new account because I wanted to play Battlefield 6 again in this lifetime
